The Waiting ...

Tom Petty said the waiting is the hardest part, but I think keeping your sanity while waiting on others is TRULY the hardest part.
I wonder how much of my day is spent just waiting. Doodling. Staring off pretending I'm busy while I wait on other people.
How much of my day is spent waiting in traffic? Waiting for my coffee? Waiting for the interent to connect at home (yes, I still have dialup)
Waiting for a phone call to come, or an email to be returned. Jeesh. The more waiting there is, the more wasting of ones life that is done.
Anyone have any suggestion on how to fill those waiting voids in my life? My mom prays while she waits. That's a possibility.
Sometimes while waiting I giggle at the other people around me. Sometimes I replay Tom and Jerry cartoons in my head. The old Chuck Jones episodes with 'mammy' chasing Tom around with the broom.
I sometimes wonder if the dogs at home are doing fine. Are they treating each other nicely? Are they doing the dishes like I asked - probably not. They never do.
Anyway .. this blog was created while waiting ... on others. And as soon as I can maybe I'll pray while waiting, then switch over to 'Tom and Jerry.'
